Price of gas

  • May. 10th, 2008 at 7:06 AM

If I hear one more American whine about being gouged at the pumps I will scream. In Ontario, Canada I have seen gas go up as high as $1.25 a liter. And for you Yankees there are 3.74 liters in a US gallon. So do the math. We're paying over $4.70 for that same gallon of gas. And Canada is inundated with oil fields, from Alberta to the Hibernia fields off the coast of Newfoundland. And don't forget our dollar is about par with US currency.

Face it people, the days of cheap gas are gone with the dinosaurs, and it ain't never coming back. Deal with it. And realize most of the rest of the world is paying a lot more than your whiny ass. No offense intended. Well, not much.
